Last weekend we had some guests visiting for a family birthday party. When they called, they asked the infamous questions......What do you do in this area if you don't want to go wine tasting? Well, we have a plethora of fun things to do in the Willamette Valley if you don't enjoy wine tasting!

I have never been on a hot air balloon ride but I have heard they are a blast! Vista Balloon Adventures is based out of Newberg and offers this adventurous treat. It is quite a site to behold when you see the early morning sky dotted with hot air balloons. Ahhhh.....
There are incredible hiking trails, bike trails, wonderful parks and golf courses. We have brochures for different trails at the cottages but the Chamber of Commerce has a wonderful assortment of literature.



The Willamette Valley is filled with wonderful restaurants. Not only is historic 3rd street lined with treats for the taste buds, there are adorable boutiques and unique shops to visit too. You can't forget about the Evergreen Space Museum, we have spent hours in there and not seen everything. Of course when summer arrives, there are farmer's markets, festivals and various art, wine and food events. This area is rich with treasures!
