Mother's Day in Wine Country

I spoke with a guest yesterday who takes annual Mother's Day get-aways...... three adult sisters and their mom. What a great way to celebrate such a special day......a night away with just the girls. The Willamette Valle is a perfect spot for girls to visit. We have wonderful antique shops. RD Steeves is just in neighboring Yamhill, Rick's Wholesale Antiques and Lafayette School House Antiques in Lafayette, and many more in neighboring towns.



Nurseries usually seem to get a girl excited too. Our fertile ground provides us with some fabulous nurseries to choose from. Ferguson's Fragrant Nursery is one of my favorites! They have beautiful gardens and the staff is very helpful. Country Gardens is just a few miles from the cottages......they have a wonderful selection and the pots are beautiful!




And, of course there are plenty of wonderful tasting rooms and restaurants to visit. Too many to even try to hit in one weekend. In fact, Mother's Day in the Willamette Valley may just need to become an annual tradition!
